Hello, I'm Hayley Sirinek!
I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults as they navigate challenges, transitions, and experiences that may feel difficult to manage on their own. I have a particular passion for working with children and creating a space where they can feel safe, understood, and supported. Children communicate and process in different ways, and I enjoy using play, creativity, and developmentally appropriate activities to express
themselves and build emotional regulation skills. My goal is to meet each client where they are and help them recognize their strengths while developing tools that support them both in and out of therapy.
I have experience working with trauma, anxiety, emotional regulation, and life transitions. I have focused training in play therapy and trauma-informed care, particularly when working with children and adolescents. I also enjoy supporting adolescents and adults in better understanding the connection between their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and physical experiences. My approach draws from Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and strengths-based interventions. I also incorporate an Internal Family Systems (IFS) lens,
helping clients approach different parts of themselves with curiosity and compassion. I tailor treatment to each client’s developmental level, needs, and goals.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-In Training (LPC-IT) in the State of Wisconsin. I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Wisconsin–Superior. During my clinical training, I discovered how much I value working with children, creating therapeutic experiences that feel approachable and meaningful. I am grateful for the opportunity to sit beside my clients as they develop new skills, work through difficult experiences, and build a stronger foundation for their well-being.
