Hi, my name is Sara.

I am dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing environment.  I strive to facilitate conversation to assist with building acceptance of self and reality.  Through collaboration with my clients, we learn and practice skills for significant and enduring change. I am committed to a non-judgmental approach, helping clients embrace life on life's terms.  I take pleasure in working with individuals across all age groups, concentrating on leveraging their strengths to deepen self-awareness.

I have over 15 years of professional experience, pre and post licensure working with teens, adults, families, and addiction recovery. I completed my undergraduate studies in Social Work at the University of Eau Claire and obtained a Master's in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I specialize in anxiety, mood, and depressive disorders. I am certified in Exposure Response Ritual Prevention and am passionate about working with clients who have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. I am trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and enjoy employing DBT techniques to assist clients and their families in mastering emotional regulation, thereby enhancing effective communication and unity within the family. In addition, I've provided clinical supervision to facilitate growth in the population of highly trained and qualified mental health clinicians.

As a fellow human, I am dedicated to helping my clients develop acceptance and compassion. I hold the therapeutic relationship as central to transformation. It would be my honor to accompany you on your journey and I encourage you to call us today. Remember, you are not alone.
